Beau William Hooper, age 26, a native of Sedro-Woolley, passed away in Sedro-Woolley on Friday, June 24, 2011.

He was born to William Henry “Bill” and Belinda Gwen (Stafford) Hooper, on October 11, 1984 in Sedro-Woolley.  He graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 2003, where he excelled at wrestling and then attended Bellingham Technical College, taking welding classes.

Beau loved his dog, “Brody” and enjoyed having him at his side always.  He also liked traveling, especially his time in Hawaii; hiking, camping, snowboarding, wakeboarding, photography and spending time with his family and friends.  He also liked building and fixing things and volunteered his time helping people. He also participated in the Sedro-Woolley Loggerodeo in several events and gave his time to help run the event.

Beau was currently employed by Helmich and Payne, in Dickerson, North Dakota, on an oil drilling rig.

Beau is survived by his father, Bill Hooper of Sedro-Woolley; his mother and step-father, Belinda & Greg Bisbey of Sedro-Woolley; 2 brothers, Buck Bisbey of Seattle and Sammy Bisbey of Sedro-Woolley; 4 sisters, Brandy Hooper of Sedro-Woolley, Molly Bisbey of Winthrop, Harla Bisbey of Anacortes and Samantha Hooper, of Sedro-Woolley; grandparents, Mae Hooper of Sedro-Woolley, Arnold and Selah Hooper of Orofino, Idaho and Christine Johnson of Moses Lake; aunts and uncles, Darcy and Lenny Thompson of Sedro-Woolley, Lisa and Mark Stevens of Moses Lake, Michael Stafford of Moses Lake, Becky and Steve Johnson of Bow and Chuck Hooper, of Concrete and numerous cousins and longtime best friend Nicole Geertsma, of Bellingham.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard Stafford and aunt, Chris Hooper.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2011, at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Jim Cannon officiating.

He was amazing guy with such an uplifting personality that always made me laugh and smile.
