Monday, January 12th, 2015

Bernice Rose Doyle passed away on her 88th birthday, January 12, 2015 in the early morning hours at Mt. Glenn Assisted Living. She had spent the weekend “at her party” with family.

She is survived by her sister, Marie Collins, of Laguna Hills, CA; daughter, Susie (Dale) Wardell of Sedro-Woolley; son, Jim (Marjie) Doyle of Bothell, WA. She was very proud of her grandsons, Johnny and Adam Wardell and Sean Doyle; her nieces Marilee “Mimi” Kirschner, Cathy Beal, Mary Kay Tolle and Jeanne Holm were very loved by her.

She was treated with such grace and kindness by the staff at Mt. Glenn and Hospice of the Northwest. An extra special thank you to Debbie Boxx, her caregiver, who made sure her coffee, was “Hot”.

The Rosary will precede the Funeral Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM, Monday, January 19th, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Sedro-Woolley with Father Emilio Gonzales officiating. A private family Inurnment will be at Holy Rood Cemetery, in Seattle, WA.

Memorials can be made in Bernice’s name to Hospice of the Northwest, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, and or the charity of your choice.

    Susie and Family:

    So sorry for the passing of your mom/grandmother. May all of your great memories of her help at this time. I know your mom is celebrating with loved ones who have passed before her and were waiting to welcome her home.

    Susie, Jimmy and family,

    I will always remember Bernice as a stylish, compassionate woman who loved to shop, visit with everyone and laugh. Bernice always made me feel special and loved. I feel fortunate and blessed to have spent time with Bernice, who was like a second mother, at Mt. Glen this last year. She always loved to show me the pictures of her family, who she was so proud of. I will miss her so much, but I know she is having fun dancing with her husband.

    Special hugs to everyone.

    Susie & Jimmy;

    Autine Bernice was so kind, generous and loving. She was the best aunt that anyone could have asked for. I have such wonderfuly memories of summers in WA and her visits here in CA. I am thankful for all the time my family and I were able to spend with her through the years.

    Her love for you both and your families was the most important thing to her. Her grandsons were the light in her life. We will all miss her, but will be able to keep these wonderful memories close to our hearts and celebrate her life and the wonderful loving person she was.

    Love, Mary Kay Tolle & family

    Susie and Family,

    I am sorry for your mother’s passing. It is always hard to lose a parent, but for daughter’s, mother’s are the hardest. They hold a special place in our hearts. I pray that you will be healed with all the memories of your mother and please know that I am thinking of you at this most difficult time.

    Cheryl Brue (Brianna’s Mother).
