Bonifacio ‘Ray’ Armijo, 51, a longtime Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.
He was born in Boulder, Colorado on October 24, 1957, the son of Bonifacio & Dolores Martinez Armijo. He was raised in Colorado until coming to Sedro-Woolley in 1968 where he attended school.
Ray worked in the farming and the construction industries for many many years. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing pool and was a lover of animals.
Ray is survived by his companion of 20 years, Marlene Wright of Sedro-Woolley. His son, Raymond Bonifacio Armijo and a step-son, Jake Wright both of Sedro-Woolley. Three brothers, Dan Armijo and his companion Cindy and Sam Armijo and his wife Mary of Sedro-Woolley and Mike Armijo of Mount Vernon and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, a sister, Marie Dolores Armijo and a brother, Patrick Armijo.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lemley Chapel on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. Private inurnment will be at Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
