I just learned of Bonnie’s passing. We were first cousins. I kept in touch with her almost prior to her passing. My parents, older brother, and I came to Washington on the train when I was a little girl. Bonnie was almost grown up by then. She was selling tickets at a theater in Mt. Vernon. We visited the farm. I never knew then I would also live in Washington one day. Her dad sent my brother and me out one day to find the needle in their haystack. My dad was the youngest Ellerbeck brother. I enjoyed the letters Bonnie wrote time.
