Charles “Chuck” Plummer, age 73, passed away January 19, 2022, in Prineville, Oregon.  He was born March 28, 1948 in Sedro-Woolley, Washington to Charles J. Plummer and Audrey Plummer, along with his two older sisters, Ann Noggle-Plummer and Diane Dosch-Plummer.

He graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1966.  Then soon after he married his first wife in 1967.  A few days after, he was called to serve in the Military where he fought bravely for his Country in the Vietnam war as a Machine gunner. He was awarded a Purple Heart and an award for Heroism.

Everything he did in life he did 100 percent. He loved and played many sports including baseball, horseshoes and bowling, he even scored 3 perfect 300 games.

In 2011 he moved to Prineville, Oregon where he married Vicki Buschard.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Bushard-Plummer; children, Lisa Vandersar (Derrick), Chuck Plummer (Megan Wolner),  Jamie Plummer (Ben Hassler), Kristi Hauenstein (Josh);  stepchildren, Jerry Johnson (Shandal), Bo Bushard, Jaylene Bushard; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Plummer; father, Charles J. Plummer; grandson, Dylan Heinzman; granddaughter, Makayla Meiers.

Chuck was well known and loved by many in Skagit county. He will be dearly missed by everyone, and his legacy will continue to live on within our hearts

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00, Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Union Cemetery, Sedro-Woolley, Washington.  A time of visitation will be available Thursday and Friday from 10:00 to 5:00 at Lemley Chapel.  A reception will be held at the American Legion Hall at 1:00 Saturday.  Share your memories of Chuck and sign the online guest register.
