Connie Rae Torset

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Connie Rae Torset, 35, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 24, 2009 at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.
She was born on December 11, 1973 in Torrance, California, the daughter of Donald & Sharron Troy. She was raised, attended school and made her home in southern California until moving to the Skagit Valley in 2000.
She was united in marriage to Russell Torset in Sedro-Woolley on February 23, 2008 and where they have made their home.
It is so hard to understand God’s plan in suddenly taking a daughter, wife and mother at such a young age. He must have a purpose, wanting Connie with Him and having her there to intercede on our behalf.
Her family, many friends and loved ones will miss her terribly, but can be confident that she is up in heaven dancing with the angels and singing with Jesus while preparing a place for us and awaiting our arrival.
Connie has been member of the Christ the King Church in Sedro-Woolley.
Connie leaves her loving husband, Russell and son, Glenn Staley of Sedro-Woolley. Her parents, Don & Sharron Troy of Palm Springs, CA. Two brothers, Duane Troy of Anacortes and Michael Troy of Colorado. A sister, Kimberly Zevin of San Diego, CA and six nieces and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by her mother & father-in-law, Rose & Marc Torset and her brother-in-law, Eric Torset all of Sedro-Woolley and the countless friends whom she reached out to help in her lifetime.
A Life Celebration and her going home to God will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Sedro-Woolley Community Center, 703 Pacific Street with Pastor Mark Collins of Christ the King Church officiating.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
