I knew Darla from school in Sedro Woolley. While we had grown out of touch, I remember her friendship and the fun we had in school. I remember she was a good person, just as I’m sure she was later in life. My condolences.

The sweetest person I have known. Darla was always positive no matter what. We grew up together and she always made me happy when I was around her. A dedicated mom, wife, and a terrific cousin. But more like a sister. I recall the two of us going to our first school dance in 1973 or 74. She was out there dancing right away and looked great when I was too scared and only watched from the gym wall. I miss your Darla- like Jennifer said-say hello to my dad.

You fought a courage fight against your cancer. You were such a hard worker and faithful friend to many. You will be greatly missed by all,

I will never forget spending time with my cousin. We spent many summers together at Grammy and Grampy’s house. She taught me how to fish – and that we did every day. We rode bikes, horses; hiked in the corn field, snuck out and rode her motorcycle (we got caught), made up games and had secret code words for pretty much everything. When she lived with us in Maltby WA we rode horses every day. She made me laugh and taught me a lot. Darla you will be missed – give my dad a hug I know he will be so happy to see you.

Oh dear sweet Darla. I am so sad of hearing this news. You and I came and went together for years. When you came to the flower shop to work when I bought it I thought that was awesome. I am so sorry for your loss sweet Courtney and Ron. If you guys need anything please let me know. I’m here for you. May she be singing with the angels in heaven. She had a wonderful heart and was a true friend. I’m so very sorry. RIP my Darla dear. You were so much fun and brought so much to life at the flower shop. I enjoyed every minute of it. I will cherish our friendship and until we see each other again. Bless you my friend. Love Karen
