I only ever called him Grandpa. And he was one of the most amazing men I have ever known. I, like the rest of my family loved and will always love him dearly. He is greatly missed.

Dave was my friend for as long as I can remember he was such a good man! He had a great sense of humour and a ready smile I don’t think he ever met a stranger. He helped me with my political campaigns but never asked for any favours but lobbied hard for his beloved Concrete and it’s people. He was in the middle of every volunteer effort to help children and his community. He was a friend to all who knew him. RIP my friend your work is finished.

So sorry to hear about Dave, and sorry that I missed the service as I didn’t hear about it until after the fact. Dave was a vibrant guy, a hard worker, and a good man. The community will miss him! My condolences to Ellamae, Bob, Robin, and Patty and their families.

  • Ron Regan

I have known Dave for many years. He watched me grow up in Concrete. Worked with him at Peterson Texaco. It was always great talking with him whenever I came back to Concrete for a visit. Rest in Peace my friend.

I haven’t seen Dave and Ellamae for years, but have fond memories of them when they worked for Albert and Harriett. Dave was forever a “kick in the pants” with a funny story or joke whenever I came into the Red Apple.
Ellamae, Mama and I send our condolences and love to you and your family. There will be a void in your house for a long time, but there also will be happy memories of the fun you had together and cherished moments of your years together.
We are praying for you and your family. God bless you all

I remember Dave delivered oil to our house in Concrete when I was a little girl and when I got older I’d go over and spend the night with Patty and I thought her Dad was so funny. I’m sending prayers and hugs to Ellamae, Patty and the rest of the family. Praying that the good memories help you get through this difficult time.
