To all who knew Dave not too much needs to be said… He was a man of few words, but when he spoke his words came from what he thought as a purpose…..With many nights mulling though the delivery process, he was concrete, direct and above all—–in his own way, aimed to show respect. Dave made you work to get to know him. If you know what I mean by this, you repested him for what he is as much as I do. He could fix just about anything !! He knew a little about a lot of things. He spoke with conviction. Sometimes he spoke with too much conviction—and realized later in life of this. He wanted to be a teacher originally, before becoming steady in other trades in his life: Manager of JCPenney Automotive Dept, Commercial Fisherman, Owner/Manager of NW Automotive Service Station, Builder/woodworker, and spent most of his family rearing years with Georgia Pacific Corportation where he retired late in 1999. Thanks Dad for being all that you are, all that you gave and all that you taught me to be !!!
