    To all,
I just found out the sad news when I was in Kent getting my haircut by the Golden Steer. I am crushed with the news of my friend from the old Ballard neighborhood being gone. After moving back to Washington in 1991 I went into the GS on a Sunday and here comes David from the kitchen into the bar in his chef whites. I was suprised and asked him, “what are you doing here?” and he replied, “what are you doing here?”. From that day until we both moved away from Kent he befriended me immediately and we shared numerous fun times. We went fishing, bar hopping, met up in Las Vegas, he took me to the family Xmas party and we did many other things. He was the same age as my deceased oldest brother so we didn’t mingle much growing up but he kind of filled that void for me after our paths crossed in the GS. “Big Wave Dave” will be missed but never forgotten.
If his wife Kim or sisters Julie or Patty happen to see this late posting please send me an email orgive me a call if you’re able to @ 253-942-8569. I would like to chat and find out what happened. My prayers and condolences are with you all. Thank you. Bruce and Destiny
    We love you David.

Dave was such a great person, many fond memories of gatherings at the Steer and the football wooting and hollering! I remember he used to sprint in from the restaurant, to the bar area, any time the game was on and the noise level rose…. never wanted to miss a replay. We will miss you.
