Delbert Lloyd Jensen, 66, of Burlington, Washington passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 1, 2024.  He was born April 12, 1958 to Delbert and Patricia Jensen in Anacortes, WA.

Growing up in Oak Harbor, WA, during his school years, he enjoyed singing and watching his brothers play sports.

He attended a college in California where he earned enough credits to get a job with the State of Washington, working in the labor & industries division as a claims manager.  He worked 20 plus years for the State of Washington in Olympia and made his home in Lacey, WA.

He lived in Lacey for most of his life, with a brief time in Port Angeles, WA until he recently retired and moved into the family home in Burlington.

Del is survived by his two brothers, Jeff (Debbie) Jensen and Tom (Wendy) Jensen; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  He was close to his cousin, Jane Osborne and had some wonderful friends including his next-door neighbor, Maggie Potter.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia back in 2022.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00, Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Inspire Church of Sedro-Woolley.

    Oh man my heart was shattered when I heard the news. I am still can not believe you are gone. I am so sad I did not get to have one last conversation with you or get the visit in we planned. I loved our chats and I loved you so very much. I am glad you are now free to be you and are no longer in pain.
