Diane Elaine (Ehinger) Peter, 70, a Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2018 at United General Hospital.

She married the love of her life Robert (Bob) Peter on August 3, 1969, and their love stayed strong through all these years. She always felt at peace and safe with Bob and the knowledge that family always came first.

Diane took satisfaction in baking a good pie or a light coffee cake. She enjoyed canning and seeing her fruit and jam jars fill up the pantry.  She also enjoyed her Bible study with her Christian sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Peter; daughter, Judith Muller; son, Robert Peter, II; grandchildren, Stephanie Muller and Jonathan Muller; mother, Ellen Ehinger; sisters, Sue Ellen McCann (Mike), Lorene Ehinger; brother, Anton Ehinger; 2 nieces; 4 nephews; 6 great-nephews; 1 great- niece; numerous other family members.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Ehinger; granddaughter, Kimberly Muller and brother, Norman Ehinger.

Although I didn’t know Diane in her adult years, I do remember growing up across the street in our earlier years. Our parents were great friends and enjoyed playing cards together along with many laughs. RIP Diane. (Dolores Jordan (Henderson family) Abenroth).
