Dolores Marian Schuhow, age 75, passed away on September 23, 2010, at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley.

Dolores was born to Clarence and Marion (Bagwell) Berry, on September 23, 1935 in Monroe, Washington.

She met Thomas Schuhow when they were both in the Navy, and were married in Yuma, Arizona, on August 20, 1955.  They were stationed in Florida, California, and finally in Washington where they settled, living in Whatcom County and Skagit Valley area the last 34 years.

Dolores loved gardening and yard work, interior decorating and decorating the outdoors as well.  She was a humorous character, sharing her laughter with her children, was generous, and proud of her home.

She is survived by her three sons, Terry Schuhow, of Sedro-Woolley, Kelly and his wife Karla Schuhow, of Acme, Michael and his wife Sharon Schuhow, of Everett; four grandchildren, Aimiee Lynn Cade, Jessica Lynn Schuhow, Brandon Schuhow and Chris Schuhow; two great grand children, Chayce and Drew Cade; brother, George and his wife Lindy Berry; half brothers Johnnie, Mike and Rusty; half sisters Marilyn, Peggy and Susan.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; daughter, Kathleen; sister, Joan and half brother, Jimmy.

A Graveside Service of cremated remains will be held at Noon, Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Saxon Cemetery, in Acme, followed by a pot luck reception at the Sedro-Woolley Eagles Club. Arrangements and services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.

    May you find Peace in knowing that Dolores lived her life to the fullest. I worked with her on a few occassions but have not seen her in years<. I have to agree that she was a character. Will never forget her laugh which she did often.
