Edna E. Allen, 80, passed away April 1, 2011after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born to Glen R. and Beulah (Clemans) Fischer in Brunswick, Nebraska.  On May 14, 1949, she was married to Alfred L. Allen in Hot Springs, South Dakota, where they lived until 1979, when they moved to Sedro-Woolley, Washington.  Edna worked for the National Park Service for 28 years before retiring from North Cascades National Park in 1985.  After retirement, Edna was very active in ceramics and other crafts.

She is survived by one daughter Delores (Dee) and son-in-law Robert (Randy) R. Fisher, of Montrose, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred and her parents.

No services are scheduled and arrangements are under the care of Lemley Chapel.
