Perry Allen went to be with his Lord and Savior after a short illness on Sunday, May 25, 2003 at the United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, WA at the age of 74 years. He was born October 3, 1928 in Gunnison, Colorado the son of Richard and Margaret Sammons Allen. Perry lived in Gunnison, Colorado until age 13 when the family moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. He served with the US Army in Korea in 1950. He worked as an accountant for a junior college in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he lived for 22 years. Perry loved to fish and hunt, but most of all he was a great encourager and help to all his neighbors in Tulsa. He leaves behind his sons Tony and David of California, two granddaughters Adrian and Gina and their much loved mother Susan. Two sisters Alta Mae Bowman of Astoria, OR and Mary Ellen Beasley of Sedro-Woolley. Two special friends Bob and Mildred Talley of Tulsa, Oklahoma and other friends he left behind in Tulsa.
Graveside Services will be Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 2:30PM at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery with Pastor Jim Bowman of Astoria, OR officiating.
