Emily Brower

Emily Brower

Friday, December 3rd, 2021

Emily Lenora Brower was born on April 21, 1961, in Sedro-Woolley, WA and passed away on December 3, 2021, after a 12-year battle with cancer.

A Woolley Girl forever, she graduated in 1979 and remained close to her community her entire life.  Emily worked in the medical field, was a cook and poker dealer.  Her most favorite time of year was summertime when she would go camping or sit in her garden that she referred to as her “Piece Of Peace”.  Traditions were so important to Em.  Traveling with her life partner, Brue and Girls Weekend.  Bonfires, holidays and birthdays were always exciting with Em.  Emily was incredibly giving, her heart was enormous!  She was always helping everyone and everyone, lending her efforts and giving so selflessly. Her colorful expressions, contagious laugh, quick wit and giant heart will be forever missed.  She was so proud of son, Ryan and daughter, Brianne.  She treasured her Grandlittles and was adored by her village.

Emily is survived by her children, Ryan and Brianne; her life partner, Bruce Fowler; mother, Karen Kelly; brother, Larry Brower and father and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her village.

Em is preceded in death by her grandparents, Aunt Teri Walker and many many friends and loved ones.

Em’s Celebration of Life pot luck will be held at the Skagit Valley Eagles from 1:00PM to 4:00PM on Saturday, January 8, 2022.

Em went all in on life, never taking it for granted.  She fought like a girl!

Rest easy Em, you have earned it.
