Ervin A. Cress, age 81, formerly of Rockport, passed away in Lynnwood, Washington, Tuesday, April 13, 2021. He was born August 12, 1939 in Snoqualmie, WA to Arvel and Blanche (Welch) Cress.
Ervin’s family moved to Rockport when he was young and he worked at the olivine plant in Hamilton, as a Millwright at Bendix, at the Concrete Cement plant and as a logger. He would always be willing to help people work on vehicles or other projects.
Ervin is survived by his children, Erva Dominguez of Concrete, WA, Lois “Patty” (Eric) Chandler of Sedro-Woolley, WA and Mark Cress of Rockport, WA; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Thelma Johnson of Rockport; brother, Rick Cress of Burlington, WA; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Lois Cress Aalmo; brother, Harvey Cress.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Forest Park Cemetery, Concrete, WA with Pastor Rob Thomas presiding. A time of visitation will be available from 10:00 to 6:00, Thursday and Friday at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. Share your memories of Ervin and sign the online guest register.

my Rafting Customers for Pacific NW Float Trips. I purchased a Trailer from hi
which I still have for transporting my Rafts. Always willing to help and very knowledgeable about The Skagit Rivers fioshi9hng and History.
