I was just thinking of Floyd tonight, I was a drywall contractor in the Everett area for about 25 years. Floyd and his partner did my texture work, which includes walls and ceilings, for several years. Unlike some in the business, Floyd’s work was not hurried, he even scraped the floors after messy drywall tapers. His texture work was almost artistic, I never had a customer complain about his work and many compliments. He was also easy going, a very nice man with whom I did business, never forgotten.

We remember Floyd as a kind neighbor who was always tinkering on a project down on Tyee Beach on Camano Island. His trusty companion Sam the dog was always close by. He had a great smile, and will be missed.
