George A. ‘Buster’ Hendrickson a lifetime resident of Skagit County passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA at the age of 52 years. He was born January 18, 1951 in Sedro-Woolley, WA the son of George and Sylvia Burr Hendrickson. George grew up in the Concrete and Rockport area’s and graduated from Concrete High School in 1970. He worked in sawmills for a number of years and for the past ten years has worked for Trident Seafoods in Anacortes as a line worker. George was married to Anita Carlson on August 10, 1998 in Reno, Nevada. He was an avid fisherman. George is survived by his wife Anita Carlson of the family home in Rockport. 4 children Misty Williams of Madras, OR, Scott Hendrickson of Marblemount, Heather Reed of Longview, and Misty Carlson of Rockport. 5 grandchildren. His mother Sylvia Hendrickson of Rockport and 3 brothers Terry and his wife Ann Hendrickson of Vashon Island, Earl and his wife Lyric Hendrickson of Concrete, Michael and his wife Marlene Hendrickson of Concrete, and a sister Linda and her husband Allen Johnson of Rockport. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing for family and friends will be Saturday, May 17, 2003 from 1PM to 5PM at Lemley Chapel. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
