George “Rocky” John Stark, Jr., age 68, passed away February 6, 2023, in Clear Lake, Washington. He was born April 8, 1954, in Eureka, California to Lenora (Sullivan) Stark and George John Stark, Sr.

He married Bethia “Beth” Calcote on May 9, 1975, after a one-month courtship.  George proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 1994, first as an Anti-Submarine Warfare Operator and then as an Air Traffic Controller.  He served the majority of his career at Naval Air Stations Lemoore, California, and Whidbey Island, WA, participating in deployments to the Western Pacific and Antarctica.

Following his retirement, he embarked on a new career in the casino business as a dealer and pit boss at Skagit Casino and later as a tribal gaming agent at Angel of the Winds.  He loved spending time with his friends and family and was an avid motorcyclist, golfer and bowler and was a league member at Riverside Lanes.

George is survived by his wife, Beth Stark; his children, Coral Eve Stark and Matthew Damien Stark; siblings, Angela Cherry and Jon Stark and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

At George’s request, no services will be held.  Share your memories of George and sign the online guest register.
