I have really missed Glen in our neighborhood. Last christmas he brought over a carmel pie with whipped cream frosting he made himself. It was so sweet and delicious and we had such fun slicing and eating the pie together. His love for animals was our common bond and we loved to share stories of his beloved Dixie and my dog Phoebe. I hope he is with Chris and Dixie now with that great smile on his face.

Mike, Mel and the Griffith family, I am so sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Glen very well, I only heard what great individual he was. Take some comfort that he is now looking down on us as we struggle thru our daily lives and gives us the guidance we all need. With my deepest sympathy, Rich

Glen & I were high school classmates, will miss seeing him at our class reunions. We were FFA members & were on our FFA animal judging team. We were traveling to a judging contest at WSU one time & got caught in a bad dust storm north of Pasco our advisor was driving. We were looking out the side window to keep the car on the highway as visability was close to 0. We were rear ended by an elderly lady, Glen was in the back seat eating a cookie, the force of the collision caused him to swallow the cookie, he said he hardly had a chance to taste it. No one was injured. He & I walked across a plowed field to a farm house, we were ankle deep in dirt, we made it there & the farmer called for help. We laughed later about him swallowing that cookie whole. My best to his family. Terry Yahn class of “59”

    Our Dear Stubby,

We believe that a person won’t be remembered by what they had, but the lives they have touched. Stubby, you have touched so many. We hope you realized that! Your kindness, laughter, jokes, stories and Christmas singing is to be cherished forever.

May gentle and special moments be with you and Chris again.

    Love,

Doug, Shirley, Hop and Tyson Gamble

——————————————————————————————————————————————————Patrick, Michael, Erica, Melanie, Ella and Casey,

How fortunate to have Stubby to be your father, father in law and grandfather. How unfortunate that Ella and Casey didn’t have a chance to meet Chris too. The love for all of you would be unbelievable.

I know there is nothing to say to make you feel better right now.

Patrick and Michael Here is a saying that your father lived every day.

“Fix your thoughts on what is true, good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the good things in others. ”

He was so proud of you two.

    Love to all of you,

    Doug, Shirley, Hop and Tyson

Our hearts break for your’s and our loss and your pain. We will all miss his sense of humor, JOKES, he never forgot a one, smile, helping ways, his LOVE. No more bed& breakfast for Taylor to charge him to eat, or good meals for Uncle Jerry.(Only cooked when I was forced)…or had company, and played Martha Stewart.
What we have are wonderful memories and moments to help us navigate these tough times ahead. His love of babysitting and playing with Ella & Casey, his cooking lessons from the girls, great times and wonderful dinners, his great friends and joy he brought to us all. Both he and your Mom were so proud of the fine young men you are today and the role they played in that, loving being parents. They loved you all deeply and still do. That is uncondtional and never stops. May their love for you ,and your’s for them ,help in the lessening and healing of your sorrow. We are all better people for having him in our lives and to have been touched by his love, friendship, and guidance. We must now say, until we meet again and God speed, dear Dad and Brother, as he watches over us. Our love and deepest heartfelt sympathy.
Keep That Ford on the Road Stub,Love ,(your favorite sister), haha
Love Aunt Carol & Uncle Jerry

    To Glen’s family.
My husband Don Rudnick worked for the fisheries and that is how I met Glen and Chris. Glen had the greatest sense of humor and could always get one over on me. I loved his wonderful smile. I know he will be missed so very much by his family and all his friends. We had some fun parties with our fisheries people.
Know he and all of you are in my prayers.
