HARLEY JOHN ZIMMERMAN, beloved father and friend, passed away on October 2, 2002, in Newport Beach, CA. He was born December 14, 1929 in Washington where he was raised and attended school. Harley served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He met his wife in Hawaii where they lived for several years and moved to California in the 1960’s.
Harley had a promising career in the aerospace and commercial aircraft industry and retired in 1996. He loved nature, animals and most of all just spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Gerry; his children, Gail, JoAnn, John and Stacy; and grandchildren, Dylan, Camren, Ryan, Brandon and Ethan.
Those he touched were blessed to be a part of his life as he embraced all of those around him. He will be dearly missed. We are grateful to have many beautiful and loving memories of a man who gave everything he had.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery. Pastor Walt Rice of Bethlehem Lutheran Church is officiating. Military Honors will be provided by George Baldridge Post 43 American Legion. Services and arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
