Harry Benjamin Wyatt passed away Saturday, September 14, 2002 at the United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, WA at the age of 65 years. He was born June 19, 1937 in Waynesville, NC the son of Estes and Etta Johnson Wyatt. Harry grew up in North Carolina and moved to Skagit County 53 years ago residing in Sedro-Woolley, Lyman, and Hamilton. He worked as a journeyman mechanic in the construction and logging industry as well as working on the Pipeline in Alaska. He was an active member of the Lyman Baptist Church and a US Navy veteran belonging to George Baldridge Post #43 American Legion. Harry also enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was married to Phyllis Pospyhala on June 22, 1981 in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Wyatt of the family home in Hamilton. Step Daughter Terri Sue Dryer of Sedro-Woolley. A sister Martha Wood of Sedro-Woolley and 3 sisters in law Marie Brown of Alger, Barbara Gilmer of Sedro-Woolley, and Nancy Dobers of Arizona. A brother in law Albert Dobers of Hansville, WA. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers John, Grady, Fred and 2 sisters Wilsey Dietz and Della West.
Memorial Services will be Friday, September 20, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Lyman Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Schenk officiating,. Memorials are suggested the theAmerican Cancer Society.
