Harry Lee Shira, 63, a resident of Concrete, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side on Saturday, February 2, 2019.
He was born on August 17, 1955 in Aberdeen, WA the son of Leo J. and Phyllis (Thatcher) Shira. He was raised in Lomita, California. Harry worked in the restaurant business, later moving to Mount Vernon with his wife, Jari (Young) Shira in 1985.
Harry played the drums in his high school band. He was an avid guitar player, having a band for over 30 years. He was also known as “The Hair”. He also loved to bowl and he worked with the youth to learn all aspects of bowling.
Harry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jari Shira; father, Leo Shira; son, Jarrett Libke; brothers, James Shira, Michael Shira; sister, Janie Shira-Porter. He is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis (Thatcher) Shira.
Arrangements are under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
