Hattie Lucille “Lucy” Beimer, 81, our precious beloved mom, sister, and grandmother went to heaven on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.

Lucy was born on September 1, 1934 the daughter of William and Mattie (Coggins) Hyatt.

In her younger days she worked at Northern State and Western State hospitals

She loved to cook and always welcomed people in her home. At the holidays, she loved to bake holiday breads and delivered them to people she knew and loved. Everyone whose life she touched was made better. She was Godly, full of faith and a prayer warrior. Lucy looked forward to the day she would be free of pain and see Jesus.

She leaves behind her daughter, Brenda (Stan) Obertacz; sisters, Francis Oxenham, Faye Schrum; brother, James Kenneth Hyatt; grandchildren, Aaron (Melanie) Obertacz, Mark Obertacz; step-daughter, Cathy Beimer; step-sons, Jim (Colleen) Beimer, Rick Beimer, Jerry Beimer; and numerous other family members.

Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mattie Hyatt; husband, Richard “Dick” Beimer.

A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00AM, at the North Cascade Christian Fellowship in Sedro-Woolley, with Pastor Shon Bentley officiating. In lieu of flowers please contribute to the NCCF Church Building Fund.

The family would like to thank Creekside Continuing Care Center and staff for their wonderful care and love for mom. She loved them just as much as they did her. Also thanks to the Hospice staff for moms care and comfort till the end of her life.
