Helena Belle “Midge” Scott, 68, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 30, 1945 in Portland, Maine the daughter of Henry and Audrey (Rude) Huntley.  

On July 9, 1960 Midge was united in marriage to David Scott and they made their home in Skagit County where they were blessed with and raised their four children. She enjoyed reading, bingo, spending time with friends, but her true pleasure was her family.

Midge is survived by her husband, David Scott; 2 daughters, DeeEtta Rambow (Chuck) and Julie Barnes (Randy); 2 sons, Rusty Scott (Teresa) and David Scott (Michelle); 2 sisters, Patti Collins (Jeff) and Janet Osborn; 2 brothers, Mike Huntley (Gladys) and Randy Huntley; sister-in-law, Susie Locke; brother-in-law, Dickie Scott and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Brad Willis Huntley and a granddaughter, Chelsey Scott.

A celebration of Midge’s life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1:00PM at her daughter DeeEtta’s home.
