Neil was nearly the first person I met when I moved into the neighborhood in 2004. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for me. Neil became a great friend to me and my girls and often helped me with jobs around my house. He was smart man when it came to home fixin and always had a joke to share. Neil used to come over, coffee cup in hand and chat or play ball with my youngest, Hannah. Neil made me feel safe knowing he was out and about walking (big) Jake nightly. He kept an eye on everyones property and I always felt that if I needed something, Neil could help get it or find it for me.I always enjoyed his company when chatting with the neighbors, Nancy and Ernie. There was lots of kidding and joking with Neil. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. He will always have a very special place in my heart and I am saddened at his passing. I know he was tired. And I know he gave it is all, which is his way, but I will miss him dearly. Jerlene and family, Please know that you are in my prayers and I hope that those prayers will help your hearts heal quickly.

I remember the first time I met Neil as a child, my Dad, my sister and I visited their home to share Christ with him. And later on down the road I had the honor of introducing my family to him. I will never forget him. He’s one of the kindest people I know.

Our thoughts and prayers to you Jerlene and your family.
