Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021

Holly Diane Doyle, age 64, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, WA, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Skagit Valley Hospital, Mount Vernon, WA.  She was born June 29, 1957 in Okanogan, WA to Robert and Frances (Divine) Warnecke.

Holly is survived by her children, Bill Doyle, Jennifer Doyle, and Megan Doyle; grandchildren Jolene, Jaden and Jackson; stepmother, Bonnie Warnecke; brothers, Greg (Patti) Warnecke and Doug Warnecke; brothers-in-law, Steve (Henrietta) Doyle, Dave (Sandi) Doyle, and Keith (Holly) Doyle; sister-in-law, Deena (Wil) Matthews; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances; her husband, Rob Doyle; sister-in-law Vicki Cooper.

She lived in Pateros, WA until moving to Sedro-Woolley in 1966.  She attended Sedro-Woolley schools starting in the 3rd grade and then graduating in the top of her class in 1975.  Growing up she enjoyed skiing, staying in a cabin on the beach out on Orcas Island and camping in Easton, WA and at Alta Lake with her family.  As a young teenager she met the love of her life, Rob Doyle and they began dating in 1973.  They later married November of 1981 in Sedro-Woolley.

She was very active in her children growing up and their activities, sports and education.  As a family, they would go fishing, crabbing and camping.  She would do anything and everything to help her children and was their biggest support.  Her three grandchildren brought her so much joy.  She had a beautiful backyard where she loved to watch the grandkids play.  Holidays were important to her, as well as the many annual traditions that will continue in her honor.  She was an animal lover and the family pets shared a special place in her heart.  She worked for the school district for 20 years.  Being a secretary at Cascade Middle School was more than just a job, it was a huge part of her life.  She thought of her coworkers as family and was involved and helped in any way she could.  She was the kindest, thoughtful, caring, and most genuine women.  She would do anything to help anyone.  She was selfless, always putting others before herself.  She was loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Lemley Chapel, masks are required.  A reception will follow at Cascade Middle School.  Her final resting place will be Union Cemetery with her husband and near her mother.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sedro-Woolley Alumni and Schools Foundation.  You can make checks payable to SWASF, “Holly Doyle Memorial” on subject line and mail them to SWSAF, PO Box 509, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284, or venmo@swschoolsfoundation.

Holly, was one of the sweetest and most selfless people I know. She was more then a co-worker. She was a good friend.

My deepest condolences to Holly’s family and friends during this time of sorrow. Holly was a beautiful person inside and out, I truly believe that there is not enough words in the world to describe her other than she was one of God’s Earth Angel and now she is a heavenly one. May the Lord watch over all of you. Farewell my beautiful sister of the heart until we meet again.
