D. Irene Wilson, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 21, 2021 she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 3, 1926 in Aberdeen, WA the daughter to Harold and Enid Brider.

She graduated from Sedro-Woolley High school in 1944.  Irene married Ray Fell in 1946 and they had four boys.  In December of 1963 Ray passed away of cancer.

After Ray’s passing, she went back to school and received her Master’s in Education.  She became a math Teacher, and also the Chairman of the Math Department at Butte College in Chico, CA.

Irene designed and built several homes, she had so many talents.  She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, where she was a Bible study leader and Sunday school Teacher in her lifetime.

In March 1994 Irene met the love of her life, Ron Wilson while traveling to Israel.  They married on September 17, 1994 and have spent everyday loving life together.  They traveled to many places together.

Irene is survived by her husband, Ron Wilson of Mt. Vernon; sons, Roger  Fell (Thuy)  of Squim, WA, Don Fell of Astoria, WA, Jim Fell of Casper, WY; 4 stepchildren, Todd Wilson of Corvallis, OR, Brian Wilson of Seattle, WA, Doug Wilson (Karen) of Marysville, WA, Rhonda Wilson of Mt. Vernon, WA; sister, Diane Stephens (Ken); grandchildren, Natalie, Jaemi, Marshall, Haley, Raymond, Avery, Jim, Simon, Charles, Jessica, Keith; 15 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Louise Livley; numerous nieces, nephews, and Church friends.

She is preceded by her parents, Harold and Enid Brider; son, Terry Fell; brother, Bob Gold.

A Celebration of Irene’s life will take place at 2:00, on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1515 E College Way, Mt Vernon, WA 98273. She was laid to rest at Hawthorne Memorial Park in Mount Vernon.   Share your memories of Irene and sign the online guest register.
