    Jack R. Moore, Sr., 63, a longtime resident of the Clear Lake community, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon.

    He was born on November 20, 1950 in Sedro-Woolley, the son of Frank & Emma (Ammons) Moore.   He was raised and attended grade school in Clear Lake and middle school & high school in Sedro-Woolley, graduating from Sedro-Woolley High School with the class of 1969.

    Jack was first an electrician by trade, owning and operating with his business partner, Larry Arrowood, A.M. Electric, doing residential and commercial wiring and installing satellite dishes.    He later attended Skagit Valley College where he earned an Associate Degree in Environmental Sciences and worked for Western Hardwood Association as an environmental reforestation specialist.

    Jack enjoyed fishing, camping, playing golf and riding motorcycles.

    He is survived by his children, Jack Moore, Jr. and his wife Shannon of Sedro-Woolley, Jason Moore and his fiancé Heather Schweikert in Arizona, Brandon Winters of Mount Vernon, Kristi Butler and her husband Derek of Bellingham and Dean Johnson of Everett; 5 grandchildren, Isabella Moore, Alex Almli, Brynn Moore and Leif & Tate Johnson; his step-mother, Blanche Moore, and 2 half-brothers, Jim Ammons and his wife Sylvia, and Ernest Ammons  and his wife Marlene of Sedro-Woolley, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Moore; father Frank Moore; half-sisters Helen Nations & Merle Fox, and half-brothers Carl “Bud” Ammons and Bob Ammons.

    A Celebration of Life potluck will be held on March 22, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club banquet hall in Sedro-Woolley.
