AOC James David ‘JD’ Seward, Ret., age 77, a long time Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away January 8, 2019 surrounded by his loving family, from complications of diabetes and heart failure.

‘JD’ was born and raised in Eads, TN, enlisted in the Navy at age 17, had many adventures and a unique sense of humor.

Loving Husband, Father and Best Papa.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Agnes E. Seward; children, Donna Manke & DB Bitseff, Marilynn and Jeff Cornish and extended family and James M. Seward; grandchildren, Heath M. Manke & Kelsey Senn, Jessi E. Pehl & Adam Lavine, Jerrod M. Pehl, II & Shannon Tenborg (Colton), Wade E. Huber & Sabrina Olsen, Nicholas D. Pehl & Vanessa Sanchez, Duncan R. Huber & Alestra Glassman, Julia E. Seward, Gwyn R. Seward and Ellie D. Seward; great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Manke; beloved friends, Bernie Mangeng, Craig Mangeng and Bridgett Theyer of Oak Harbor.
