JAMES R. HOYLE, 61, a resident of the Birdsview community passed away at his home on Tuesday April 15, 2003.
He was born on April 28, 1941 in Cullowhee, North Carolina, the son of D. Glen & Edith Watson Hoyle. He was raised and attended school in Cullowhee until 1958 when he moved to Oregon to work in the lumber mills. In 1964 he came to Skagit County where he met Myrna Lee and they were united in marriage in Reno, Nevada on July 6, 1965. They made their home in Mount Vernon, WA until moving to Birdsview in 1995. Jim worked in the timber industry all of his life. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with nature.
He is survived by his wife Myrna at the family home in Birdsview. His children, James G. Hoyle and Rebecca Bell and her husband Russell of Sedro-Woolley and Lorna Hoyle of Deming, WA. 5 grandchildren, Kenneth & Savannah Hoyle, Amanda Swenson David Palagruti and Russell Bell. His mother, Edith Hoyle, a brother, David Hoyle and his wife Melba and a sister, Eloise Frady and her husband Harold all of Cullowhee, NC
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen and 2 sons Kenneth & Richard Hoyle.
A Celebration of Life and Potluck Gathering will be held at the family home, 8064 Wyatt Lane in Birdsview on Saturday April 19, 2003 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Private interment will be at the Hamilton Cemetery.
