Jeri Lynn Lowry

Jeri Lynn Lowry

Sunday, September 25th, 2016

Jeri Lynn (Earley) Lowry, 48, a resident of Concrete, passed away on September 25, 2016 at home.

Jeri was born November 29, 1967 in Tracy, California to James Lloyd and Ramona Evelyn (Tarr) Earley. Her family moved to Concrete when she was eight years old. Growing up in Concrete, she was actively involved in sports, playing Softball, Volleyball and Basketball. She loved and played in many adult Softball leagues as well. She graduated from Concrete High School in 1985. She worked in the Alaskan fishing industry for many years and enjoyed that life. Jeri met her husband, Martin in 2001 and they married in lowry-jeri-22003. Her greatest joy was their son, Levi. He was her whole world and looked forward to watching him grow as he enters his high school years. Jeri attended Nursing School at Skagit Valley College and worked as a Geriatrics Nurse for many of the local nursing homes. She loved being a nurse and took great pride in it. She had a smile that lit up a room and a laugh that was so infectious that you could not help but laugh with her. She was a wonderful poet and artist, had a great sense of humor, enjoyed being the center of attention, and loved her family very much.

Jeri is survived by her husband, Martin Lowry, of Concrete; children, Marissa L. Sproat and her fiancé, Brian Edwards, of Everett, and Levi H. Lowry, of Concrete; father, James (Val) Earley, of Concrete; sisters, Sonda Earley, of Concrete, and Billie (Tony) Bjornstad, of Burlington; granddaughter, Lily Rayne, of Everett; nephews, Rusty (Allie) Wilson, of San Diego, CA, and Kyle Wilson, of Concrete; niece, Katie (Tyler) Colwell, of Concrete; brothers in law, Michael P. (Cathy) Lowry, David (Suzanne) Lowry, and Ken Lowry; father in law, Kenneth Pat Lowry.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Earley, and brother, Dennis Earley, who were there to welcome her with open arms.

A Memorial Gathering will be announced later via Facebook. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Northwest Youth Services, 2204 Riverside Drive #210, Mount Vernon (360) 336-1988. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. Please share your memories of Jeri and sign the online guest register.

I will be forever grateful knowing and loving my niece, Jeri Lynn Earley. She had a beautiful smile all of her life. I remember a great visit I had with her about four years ago when we visited her in Washington. She was proud of Levi and wanted nothing but the best for him. I am happy that she was able to participate in the nursing field–she was compassionate. May the Lord bless Martin and Levi as they continue in life knowing that Jeri is not suffering. You will be missed, Jeri! Aunt Polly

I can honestly say she was one of the best and most influential people in my life. Her laughter was contagious and she always made people feel happy in her presence. The world lost a good woman and Levi a mother who really loves him. He is lucky to have the family he does and will be well loved. You’re all being thought of. Take time for yourselves and hold eachother close. -Tiff

I met Jeri up at Baker Lake Resort where her mom worked. I spent many a weekend at their house in Concrete. She always had that smile on her face. I can remember her coming to stay with me during spring break in our Junior year. The fun we had. The mischief that Billie, Jeri and I got into made some wonderful memories to cherish! You will be missed dearly!
