JERRY BEGAY, 39, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away at his home on Wednesday July 31, 2002.
He was born on August 13, 1962 in Ganado, Arizona, the son of Edison & Rose Benally Begay. He was raised and attained his education in Arizona. In 1983 he joined the U.S. Navy, serving much of that enlistment at N.A.S. Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, WA. Following his discharge he made his home in Sedro-Woolley. He worked for Cascade Natural Gas; Gateway Paving in Sedro-Woolley and as a card dealer at area casinos. He was also a contract laborer with the Laborers Union Local 91 out of Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his wife Janie Williams at the family home in Sedro-Woolley. His children, Aaron, Sharon and Nathan Begay in Sedro-Woolley and Darrin Shorty in Arizona. His father Edison Begay. 1 brother, Eugene Begay and 5 sisters, Elsie, Linda and Charleen Begay, Hilda Blatchford and his twin sister, Julia Judge, all residing in Arizona. His God daughter, Tina Deandrea and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Begay and a brother Eddie Begay.
Funeral services and burial will be conducted at the High White Valley Cemetery in Arizona.
