Jim Brock

Sunday, November 16th, 2014

Jim Brock, 72, entered into the Lord’s hands on Sunday, November 16, 2014, greeted by his parents and family. He was born in Ferndale, Washington on November 11, 1942, the son of Esther & James W. Brock, Sr.
Jim worked as an auto mechanic and truck driver for many years and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, clearing land with his John Deere tractor, telling stories and just being with his family.
Jim himself served in the U.S. Navy and was very proud of two of his grandsons who this past summer have committed to serve their country in the U.S. Army.
Jim is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joanne; his daughters, JoAnn Brock, Brenda Murphy (Greg), and Tina Peterson (Travis); 2 brothers, Ernie Brock (Myrna) and Garry Brock (Sandi); his sister, Wilma Rowley; sister-in-law, Sandi Sims (Dan); brother-in-law, Robert O’Brien and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. “We all love you, Jim”
A Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Wendy Tingley officiating.
