I will always think about and miss “BJ”, when I consider all the great years we had together. We worked on many jobs together, played some crazy golf games, had great cribbage tournaments, super hunting trips, and just a lot of fun times. He had a great engineering mind, sense of humor, work ethic, and was just the “big brother” I never had. We had many shared areas of interest. And, like Reta says; “he was a love of a man”.

I will always miss “BJ” , we had so many good times together. All our travels, the jobs we worked together, the crazy golf games, the cribbage tournaments, the hunting trips, the parties, the good times at the “Cabin”, our sharing of interests in cars, trucks, and jeeps. He was the big brother I never had, he had an engineering mind, a great sense of humor, excellent work ethic, and was just fun to be with. I miss him.

Thanks Grandpa John for all the memories I have, and for the cool stuff that we did together. Going to Fort Casey, walking up and down the beach and looking for agates and suitable walking sticks, playing Island Greens with you and Dad, and all the good advice I got just scratches the surface. He was smart, creative, and fun, and I’m glad I got to know him. We won’t forget you, Grandpa

Thanks again for all the cards and kind words from many of Mom and Dads friends and family. I have mistakenly called my tribute song a “Rush” song and it is a song by Triumph look it up on utube “Fight the good Fight”. Thanks again from Gloria, Jerry and family.

We lived next to John and Gloria in Burlington. We send our sympathy to Gloria, Jerry and Family. John will be remembered as the strong vibrant person he must have been when he was well. We will remember him as an affable and likable person who spent much of his time walking in the neighborhood and who wanted to visit.
