John P. Scheuerman, 78, a resident of Sedro-Woolley passed away, Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon.
He was born July 9, 1926 in Lakin, Kansas, the son of Walter and Margareta Goeringer Scheuerman. The family moved to Washington from Kansas in 1936. John worked on the Munks Farm for a number of years, then went to work for Scheuerman Masonery until 1989.
He survived by his sister, Elsie Palmer of Lyman, WA, a niece, Beth Merritt & her husband Randy and a great-nephew Tanner Merritt of Kapolei, Hawaii, a nephew Grant Scheuerman and his wife Rexene of Sudden Valley, WA. Also his sister-in-laws Fern Scheuerman and Dixie Scheuerman, both of Mount Vernon, WA.
John was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Herman Scheuerman, a nephew, Terrance Lee Scheuerman and a brother-in-law, Maynard Palmer.
