Boyce Lawson passed away Thursday, August 22, 2002 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley, Washington at the age of 71 years. He was born September 13, 1930 in Dallas, Texas the son of Charlie and Pansy Kennedy Lawson, Sr. Boyce was a resident of the Burlington area since 1981 and formally resided in Alaska and Colorado. For many years he worked as a sheet metal worker. Boyce enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Lawson of Bellingham, WA. 3 children P. Diane Towell of Burlington, WA, Charles B. Lawson of Denison, TX, and Monna Sprokkreeff and her husband Niels of Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada. 8 grandchildren Boyce Earl Towell, Patrick Ray Towell, Robert Frank Towell, Mychal Lawson, Breeland Lawson, McKenna Lawson, Tundra Sprokkreeff, and Onica Sprokkreeff. 5 great grandchildren, and a half-sister Linda Mathis of Oklahoma. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial Services will be Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at 2:00PM at Lemley Chapel with Pastor Rick Miles of the Day Creek Chapel officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Wednesday prior to the Service. Cremation will follow the Services at the Mount Vernon Crematory.
