Juan M. Ovantes, age 76, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, Washington passed away April 15, 2021.  He was born July 27, 1944 in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico to Zacarias and Isabel (Martinez) Ovantes.

Juan and Tere Garcia were married September 6, 1969 in Tijuana, BC, Mexico.  He worked at and retired from Boeing as a pipefitter.  He enjoyed breaking computers apart and trying to fix them again.

Juan is survived by his wife, Tere of Sedro-Woolley, WA; Mama Santa of Marysville, WA; children, Michael and wife, Linda Ovantes of Modesto, California, Cinthya and husband, Ramiro Fuentes of Mount Vernon, WA, and Nancy Ovantes of Marysville; grandchildren, Kaleb, Analiz, Angelica, Isaac, Tabitha; granddog, Rocco; great grandchildren, Josiah and Isaiah; in-laws, Ezequiel and Doris Pacheco, Tito and Judy Gonzalez, and Rudy and Baudelia Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, with Pastor Jose Nolasco presiding.  A time of visitation will be available from 5:00 until the service at 6:00.  Share your memories of Juan and sign the online guest register.
