Justin Queen

Tuesday, October 20th, 2020

On October 18, 2020 at the age of 33, Justin Dale Queen’s life ended suddenly and unexpectedly in Mt. Vernon, WA.  He is survived by his parent’s Greg and Margaret Martin; brother, Dalton; grandparents, Jean Hess, and Curt and Vivian Queen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Justin attended Sedro-Woolley High School and was an RV technician by trade and worked for many of the RV dealerships in Skagit County.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, fishing and camping with friends and family.  He also enjoyed boating with family and loved getting whipped around and flipped on the inner tube.  He was a hard worker who was always doing things for his family.  Justin recently helped his mom and dad remodel their home, installing new doors, new flooring and new trim.  He installed a stereo in his dad’s truck and saved mom and dad a lot of money by working on their vehicles and RV.  His skills were seemingly endless.  Whenever there was work to be done, J.D. was there.  Helping others is what he did.  He was one of those guy’s that you loved to have with you on a long road trip; if something went wrong with the vehicle you were in more than likely he could fix it.

His friends and family would all agree that he had a big heart.  He was great with kids; although, he didn’t have nieces and nephews of his own, he often played the role of the “fun uncle” with his cousins, never saying no to the kids.

J.D. has always had a fantastic sense of humor and a smile that brightened the lives of all who saw it.  He was loved by so many who will continue to cherish the time and memories they shared with him.

If love could have kept him alive, he would have lived forever.

A Celebration of Justin’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2:00pm at the Inspire Church, 805 Township St, Sedro-Woolley, WA. Share memories of J.D. and sign the online guest register.
