Monday, August 20th, 2012

Kevin Dale Shroyer, 49, a member of the Upper Skagit Indian Tribe, passed away at his home on Monday, August 20, 2012.
He was born on November 24, 1962 in Sedro-Woolley, the son of Lorna Boome.
Kevin has been a beloved member of the Upper Skagit Tribe for many years where he would make sure everyone had fire wood and their pets and kids were cared for. He was the lead security person for the firework stands and the fishing camps, but most notably Kevin was known for riding his bike everywhere. He has traveled thousands of miles around Snohomish, Whatcom and Skagit Counties, wearing out several bicycles.
Kevin is survived by two sisters, Gladys and Valerie; two great-aunts Gladys Belles of Sedro-Woolley and Fran James of Lummi and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, August 23rd at 7:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service on Friday, August 24th at 10:00 AM at the Upper Skagit Tribe Gymnasium in Sedro-Woolley with John Cayou officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
