Kimerly Marie Rodriguez, age 37, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, Washington.

She was born April 5, 1972 in Shelton, Washington to Kimbel and Joanne Wilbur Kenyon. Kimerly was a lifetime resident of the Upper Skagit Tribe in Sedro-Woolley. She was a member of the Upper Skagit Tribe, Shaker Church, and the Smoke House. Kimerly loved to bead and teach beading to tribal members. She loved to hunt, fish, gather cedar and berries, cook for her grandmother, and spend time with her aunts.

Kimerly is survived by her fiancée, David Jansen of Sedro-Woolley. Her children, Darren Kenyon-Rodriguez, Kiona Jansen, and Geraldine Jansen all of Sedro-Woolley. Her father, Kimbel Kenyon of Shelton, WA, her sisters, Luanne Kennedy and Mandy Wilbur of Shelton, WA, and her grandmother, Elsie Baker of Sedro-Woolley. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne Kenyon, a daughter, Eryka Jansen, and her grandfather, Floyd Baker Sr.

Prayer Services will be Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 7:00 PM and Funeral Services will be Friday, September 25, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Upper Skagit Tribal Gymnasium with Harlan Sam Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Hamilton Indian Cemetery.
