Doris June, I’m sorry to hear about your Mother – 92 is a good life!

I wanted to re-introduce myself. I remember you well as the smartest person in our first 2-3 grades at John’s Creek – 60 years ago. After graduating from Cullowhee HS, I went on to UNC-Chapel Hill, not to return to Caney Fork until 3 yrs ago. I’m glad to be back on the home place at the mouth of Moses Ck. Please contact me via e-mail, pqstephens@yahoo.com (wife’s) with contact info. I’d loved to catch up!

    Don- a cousin I’m sure.

Hi David, Doris, and WL: I’m sorry about the death of Lilla Mae, she was one cool lady. We were neighbors for years in Lyman and even after we moved, when I was in the area I stopped in often to see her. She had a good life and now she has a better life. God bless all of you. K

June, David, and other family members sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am the youngest child of Juanita and L.G Queen and have fond memories of visiting Mrs. Queen during my childhood, I did not realize that she was still living, as I have been gone from Washington for 40 years. God sure blessed her with a long and happy life.

    Take Care,

    Joyce Queen Roper
