Lorine D. Frisbee, age 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 24, 2009 at the Burton Care Center in Burlington, Washington.

She was born July 13, 1920 in Scotland, Arkansas to Thomas and Lena Pennington Bishop.

Her marriage to Coleman Frisbee took place January 2, 1940 in Stockton, CA. Together they raised four children. They resided in California for many years before making their home in Burlington, WA. She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved listening to gospel music and she loved to sing.

Surviving are two daughters; Shirley Lint and her husband Ted and Linda Frisbee all of Burlington and a son; James Frisbee of Mount Vernon. 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Lorine was preceded in death by her husband Coleman, brother, James Bishop, sisters, Odell Gardener and Virginia Michaud, son, Bobby Frisbee, grandson, Michael Frisbee, and her parents, Thomas and Lena Bishop.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Stephen Aldrich and the staff at Burton Care Center for their wonderful and loving care.
Mom, we will miss your laughter and smiles.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Greenhills Memorial Cemetery in Burlington with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Leon Meyer officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements and Services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
