Louise Ellen Howell, 91, of Concrete passed away at home with her family at her side on Sunday June 6th, 2004. She was born on August 28, 1912 in Trochu, Alberta, Canada, one of seven children born to Lulu and Harry Bradbury. She was raised and educated in Rathdrum, Idaho. She married George Howell on April 7, 1930 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They moved to concrete in 1942 where Louise was a homemaker and also worked in the school cafeteria for about 8 years. She belonged to ‘Royal Neighbors’ and enjoyed bowling until her 85th year. She was an ardent Mariners fan and had a lifelong love for the game of baseball. Louise was a member of the Community Bible Church in Concrete, WA. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law: Orland and Maxine Howell of Soap Lake, WA, Michael T. and Donna Howell of Concrete, WA, Albert and Claryda Howell of Wenatchee, WA, and Ronald and Jeann Howell of Concrete, WA. Two Daughters: Lucille Comstock of Concrete, WA and Ellen Orr of North Bend, WA. Brother Melvin Bradbury of Lewiston, ID and sister Pearlie and her husband Bill Reynolds of Rathdrum, ID
21 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her husband George ‘Stub’ Howell in April of 1998, her parents Lulu and Harry Bradbury, and three brothers and one sister.

The Family suggest memorial contributions be made to Skagit Hospice, The Community Bible Church of Concrete, Concrete Ambulance, or your favorite charity. Funeral Services will be held at the Lemley Chapel on Thursday June 10th, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Bruce Martin of the Concrete Assembly of God Church officiating.
