Louise Torrence, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.
Louise was born on August 13, 1925 in Sylva, North Carolina, the daughter of Randolph and Margaret Long Tolley.
Louise has been a resident of Sedro-Woolley for the past 59 years, coming here from Sylva, North Carolina. Louise worked as a sales clerk at the 88 Cent Store in Sedro-Woolley for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles and was a member of the Legion Pool Team for many years as well as being a cast member of the Wild Women of Woolley.
Louise is survived by her four children, Claudine Hopley and her husband, Duane of Samish Island, Michael Longbottom and his wife, Susan of Clear Lake and Barbara Dills and her husband, Douglas and William Lang and his wife, Katherine of Sedro-Woolley. 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Bonnie Shelton and two brothers, Woodrow and John ‘Bud’ Tolley.
No services will be held. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
