Margaret Lucille ‘Nanny’ Williams, 84, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at Peace Health St. Joseph Hospital on Friday, April 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 22, 1933 in Ellijay, N.C. the daughter of Robert and Treva Russell. Margaret and her family moved and settled in Sedro-Woolley in 1948. In 1955, she met Frank and they were united in marriage two years later, making their home in Sedro-Woolley and raising a family.
Margaret was a homemaker and worked at National Cannery in Burlington and at Sunrise Café in Sedro-Woolley until she retired.
She loved traveling and bluegrass music, but most of all her passion was spending time with her family.
Margaret is survived by five children and their spouses, Deborah and Wayne Reim, Tammy and Russ Johnson, Tarie and Lonn Benson, Dale and Jennifer Williams, and Danny Williams; three grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Whitney Johnson, Heath and Nicole Benson, Taryn Williams; three great-grandchildren, Madison Benson, Elijah Benson and Harper Johnson; six siblings, Dorothy Russell, David Russell, George Russell, Betty Dibble, Keith Russell and Francis Russell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; brothers, Buddy and Clinton; parents, Bob and Treva Russell.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00AM at Union Cemetery, 1450 Wicker Rd., Sedro-Woolley, followed by a Celebration of her Life at the American Legion Hall Post 43, Sedro-Woolley.
