Maria “Mary” Ysidra Armijo, 65, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away on March 7, 2015 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley.
She was born on May 15, 1949, in Ordway, Colorado, the daughter of Baltazar and Suzanna (Bueno) Minjarez.
Mary, a very loving and caring person, was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughters, Lucy and Ellie, whom she adored, and her close friends. She enjoyed playing games, coloring, doing crafts and just being with her granddaughters. She will be dearly missed and always remembered by those whose lives she touched.
Mary is survived by her husband, Samuel Armijo, of the family home; son, Troy Armijo and his wife, Sadie of Olympia, WA; granddaughters, Lucy and Ellie Armijo; siblings, Sena Rodriguez, Rudy Minjarez, Lydia Archleta, Baltazar Minjarez, Tony Minjarez and Laurrane Lopez; brothers-in-law, Dan Armijo and his wife, Cindy and Mike Armijo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Baltazar and Suzanna Minjarez.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. A reception will follow at the home of Danny Armijo. A time of visitation will be available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, March 11-13, from 9:00 to 5:00
