Marie Turpin, 64, a lifelong Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away on June 18, 2016.
Marie was born on July 12, 1951 in Mount Vernon, the only child of Robert & Frances (Sage) Turpin. She was raised and attended school in Sedro-Woolley, graduating from Sedro-Woolley High School.
Marie was unable to work due to health concerns but enjoyed helping her family at home, going on walks, visiting friends and enjoying her cats.
Marie is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and friends at the Hillsview Apartment complex where she resided. She was preceded by her parents and longtime companion Frank Scott.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
Marie….Thank you for being my friend. You always had time to ask about my family and friends, even when you didn’t feel well yourself. But, you never complained and you put others before yourself. You were always a Lady,and spoke kindly of those you cared about. I will miss you and the stories you would tell.
There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains!
