Marilyn Jean Ferguson, age 86, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at her home in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.  She was born October 18, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Daniel and Edna (Vierthaler) Prospeck.

Marilyn grew up in Milwaukee.  She was married to Charles Ferguson on April 18, 1953 in West Allis, Wisconsin and they were married 56 years before his passing in 2010.  They resided in East Troy, Wisconsin for many years until moving to Sedro-Woolley in the late 1980’s.  Marilyn enjoyed being a housewife and mom, gardening and caring for her flowers and the hummingbirds.  She loved her cat, Sammy like her own kid.

She is survived by her children, Scott B. Ferguson and his wife, Karen of Burlington, Terri Lynne Ferguson-Prokos, and Daniel Carl Ferguson and his wife, Vicki of Sedro-Woolley; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Prospeck; sister, Sharon Teifke.  (nieces and nephews?)

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; grandson, Robert Prokos.

    Words can not express how loved she was not only as my sister but as a mother to her children, wife to Buddy, daughter to Edna and Dan and kind friend to all she met in her lifetime. She cared about everyone and every pet and animal she met.
